Adriana Fernández Campos has more than thirteen (13) years of professional experience, accumulated mainly in two recognized law firms in the Dominican Republic, these are: OficinaBisonó Abogados y Notarios, where she worked for a total of seven (7) years, and Valdez Albizu Abogados. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Universidad Iberoamericana(UNIBE), obtaining her Law Degree with Cum Laude Honors. Subsequently, she completed postgraduate studies in France, obtaining a Higher University Diploma in Civil Law, with Summa Cum Laude Honors, and a Master II in General Private Law, both at the Panthéon-AssasUniversity, located in Paris. She also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Domestic and International Arbitration Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montpellier, Magna Cum LaudeHonors. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
In her practice she has provided legal advice to important companies and individuals in the Dominican Republic and abroad in all matters related to the establishment and management of their assets, businesses and operations, negotiations, contracts, contingency prevention, and conflict resolution. She has represented companies and individuals from all sectors in civil, commercial, criminal and labor litigation, and in multiple arbitration processes. Among these we can highlight litigation related to civil liability of different natures (medical, clinical laboratories, tourism, product liability), litigation related to family estates, contract enforcement, collections, consumer law, economic criminal law and real estate law.
She is an active member of the civil society and the academic community. She is currently a professor of Contract Law and Civil Liability at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). She is a member of the Legal Committee of the French-Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Production (CCIFD); she also serves as Secretary of the Mirabal Sisters Foundation, Inc. and as Secretary and Founding Member of the Dominican branch of the Henri Capitant Association for the promotion, dissemination, and modernization of Civil Law, which collaborates with all actors of the legal community, including judges and legislators. She has been a speaker at workshops and seminars on the Civil Code Reform Project, having published on the subject.
Mr. Flaquer Seijas is a business and litigation attorney with more than thirteen years of professional experience in different areas of law, accumulated mainly in four reputable law firms: Ulises Cabrera; Oficina Bisonó; Raful, Sicard y Polanco and Oficina Bobadilla. In the year two thousand twenty-three (2023) he culminates his trajectory of more than six (6) years as a lawyer in Oficina Bobadilla.
Mr. Carlos Flaquer Seijas obtained his Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in Civil Procedure from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santo Tomás de Aquino Campus. With a profile focused on business, he also holds an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) promotion two thousand twenty (2020) from Barna Management School. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and has a good command of French.
